Backpackers Pantry Hot Apple Cobbler is like a piece of Grandma's house in a pouch. An ideal nightcap to a great day of outdoor activities, prepare it after a cold day winter camping, on a cool summers night around the fire pit or after hunting in great northern temperatures.
- Requires cooking; add apples and sauce to 1 cup of water, stir, then bring to a boil; reduce heat and cook for 5 min., stirring occasionally
- Add 3 tablespoons of water to cobbler mix and stir until smooth; spread cobbler mix over apples then cover and cook over low heat for 10 min. in a nonstick pan
