The Silky Outback Edition hand saws feature a handle made of arbor composite, which provides excellent grip and control for wet, cold and game-processing conditions. The blade can cut bone and wood, and is black-plated with a nickel/tin blend to improve durability and reduce reflection for stealth, low-impact activities.

I purchased my first one after watching one of the Canadian Prepper YouTube videos as I loved the size and ability to pack in EDC pack or in the wheeler or side by side as well as the ease of use!

Since buying my first I added two more additional to my kits! I now have one in my go bag, and the other two bounce between wheeler/side by side/snow machines! Used this saw all of the 2024 trapping season here in Alaska and the blade is still unbelievably sharp!

I would highly recommend this or any of the Silky brand as I have yet to be disappointed with this/these purchases!

Almost perfect

Great saw, fits in my bug out bag, easy to handle and sharp as hell. My only complaints would be that I would like to to see a better case so there is more options to carry it but really there are different and just as good saws from silky that already have that. Other then that I wish it locked closed. Just be careful of that and no problems. This chews through soft wood like nothing. Great companion to my katanaboy 650
