NorTent Helleren tarp occupies minimal volume and weight in the backpack and weight only about 0,5 kilos. This is a perfect combination together with for example our tents. This way you get  a much larger dry-space at the campsite that protects against the rain. NorTent Helleren can be used as an extension of the our tent. Together with our tipis it really makes your setup very exiting. and impressing. Helleren tarp is very versatile in relation to different needs and layout. It's the imagination that sets the limits on how to use use it. It can, for example, be used as a  roof that protects against the rain, a gap hawk or it can be used as a simple bottomless tent using walking sticks or woodsticks that act as poles.  

Like our tents, the fabric in Helleren tarp is made of ripstop nylon impregnated with silicone, This gives us the oportunity  to offer you a super light, strong and durable alternative to protect you against the elements. We think it is important to spend effort and resources in order to offer quality, security, and predictability. Therefore, Helleren tarp is not the most affordable tarp you can get, but certainly worth the investment to give you a functionally and durable gear. We have strengthened and processed all the stress points on the Helleen tarp so that you hopefully will not experience any unforeseen events where you are able to focus on what is important. NorTent Helleren is sewn t in a so-called catenary cut. We have chosen this cut to reduce movement and flapping of the flysheet when it is windy. A flapping of the flysheet is annoying and in addition it makes unnecessary stress on the fabric. This often occurs with a traditional, square shape of a tarp. In wind, this flapping creates a lot of noise and fussing. This is something we try to avoid when staying at camp.. With a Catenary cut, it is easier to get a straight canvas where you avoid a great deal of flapping. And of course. The setup looks very cool. With a length of 4 meters and a width of 3 meters, Helleren tarp is very spacious but at the same time, it provides a simple, yet light and solid protection against the rain. With NorTent Helleren there are 8 guylines and 6 very light stakes.
