Glacier Stainless 3 Cup Rugged Stainless Steel Coffee Kettle

This is very similar to the perc I've been using now every day for about 5 years. The plastic perk view that the others complain about is for real. The good news is that your local Home Hardware has universal replacement view units that are glass and stainless to fix your perc up just fine.

well this is a very good coffee perk the only down side this this coffee is that the top is glass or plastic top if left on open flame will melt or shatter what I did to get around that
i got 3-4 stainless steel shot glass's and had my welder buddy weld the shot glass's to the 9 cup coffee pot works good now and no problems the only thing I didn't like was the shot glass's I got where very thin stainless steel 4 of 5 just because of the top was glass or top plastic which is very easy to over come

Bought this to be my morning incentive while I am camping a lot this fall to get back into shape.

It does appear to be quite rugged, but the handle is not quite on straight. This is not really a concern as it will get bent with use also. The handle is well attached, so there is no issue there.

Fit and finish of the internal components is outstanding. It should last a long time.

The "Resin Perc-View knob" Does seem to be the weakest point on the entire unit. It is simple just plastic screwed on with coarse threads. I personally would like to see a way to order more of these "Resin Perc-View knob" before the units goes out of stock or is replaced. I fully expect it to work, but I do not know if the knob will hold up for years.
